Procrastination's Paradox

16/07/2023: What's procrastination feel like to you?

I wake up in the morning feeling trapped in my head;

procrastination creeping in, filling me with dread.

Weight of expectations, like chains on my feet;

I can't move forward, stuck in defeat.


Tick-tock, time's slipping away;

but I'm paralysed and can't find my way.

Dreams calling, I want to pursue;

but the fear inside me just grew.


A million ideas locked inside,

screaming for freedom, their voice denied.

Procrastination's grip got me in a bind;

I want to break free and unlock my mind.


Tick-tock and I'm still here;

staring at ceilings, fighting back tears.

Potential untapped, waiting to explode;

procrastination's grip has a stronghold.
